Yes. Both MARS® and ROSE™ act as alert mechanisms as well as intelligence-gathering tools. When Insider Threat Limited® analysts review a submission that indicates an immediate or serious risk — such as a potential threat to life, criminal activity, or a critical security breach.

Our team will notify the client’s nominated point of contact or operational lead (for example, the Security Operations Centre, HR, or Crisis Response Team) as a priority and confirm that the alert has been received, usually by telephone.

If a report suggests an imminent danger to life or safety, we may also contact the appropriate authorities in accordance with our legal and ethical responsibilities.

This approach ensures that organisations receive timely, actionable information, enabling rapid and effective risk management when it matters most. All alerting and escalation processes are carried out in accordance with the service level and response time defined within the client’s contract.
